Presenter Biography

Peter Akrill is a Senior Toxicologist at Abbott. Peter has been working in the area of drug testing for over 30 years. He has extensive experience of developing and implementing laboratory-based tests for drugs of abuse as well as managing drug testing laboratories. Peter has provided government departments, regulatory bodies and employers with advice on drug testing strategies. He also advises employers on the implementation of robust drug and alcohol policies. Peter is a board member of the European Workplace Drug Testing Society as well as a committee member of the London Toxicology Group.
